Canadian aid to help Jordan cope with Syrian refugees

Canada said on Thursday it will provide Jordan with around $100 million (US $90 million, 65 million euros) to help Jordan cope with an influx of hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees. The new funds were announced as Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper held talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II on the Syrian conflict and its impact on the neighbouring kingdom.
