Ex-Madison officer pleads guilty to theft during sting

(AP) — A former Madison police officer has pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $4,000 during a sting operation. According to the plea agreement, Pullum could withdraw the plea if a federal appeals court reverses a decision by a judge that denied his motion to dismiss the charge.
