Teen cyclist killed in Wellfleet

WELLFLEET, Mass. (AP) — A Wellfleet teenager struck by a car while out riding his bicycle has died. Police say 16-year-old Miles Tibbetts was struck while crossing Route 6 just after noon on Saturday. He was unresponsive and not breathing. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable then flown to a Boston hospital where he was pronounced dead later that day. Police say the boy was struck by a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Dorothy Herold of Wellfleet. The accident remains under investigation an charges have been filed.
