Stranded loggerhead sea turtle rescued on Vero Beach

Florida Atlantic University clinical veterinarian Annie Page-Karijan tells the Palm Beach Post (http://pbpo.st/2bmOgWR ) that the 300-pound female turtle was discovered Wednesday morning and has been transported to SeaWorld, where it will be diagnosed and undergo rehabilitation. Page-Karijan says that when sea turtles feel sick, they do not eat, causing dehydration and starvation.
