BART board scheduled to vote on tentative deal

(AP) — San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit's board members are scheduled to vote Thursday a tentative deal with two of its largest unions that ended a strike as a dispute over a family medical provision looms. The board's vote comes less than a week after it urged BART management to return to the bargaining table with the unions after reaching a tentative agreement last month to settle a months-long labor dispute that led to two strikes.
