With anti-viral genes, T cells ward off HIV

U. TEXAS-AUSTIN / STANFORD (US) — To help key immune cells resist infection from HIV, scientists have used a kind of “molecular scissors” to cut and paste a series of HIV-resistant genes into their DNA.
