Oil settles back above $96; natural gas rallies

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures climbed Tuesday, finding support from a weaker dollar to recoup a portion of Friday's losses and settle back above $96 a barrel. March crude rose 80 cents, or 0.8%, to settle at $96.66 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange after losing 1.5% on Friday. Nymex was closed on Monday for a holiday.
